Camping in Saumur
The Terre d’Entente campsite is an ideal place to relax, take a breather and take your time. It’s a campsite on a human scale, conducive to conviviality and nestled in the heart of a preserved natural area. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to observe a wealth of flora and fauna, while soaking up the history and culture of the Valley of the Kings, between Tours and Angers.
At the campsite, you can stay on a spacious pitch for tent, caravan or camper van, or choose the comfort of a rental with a lodge facing the Loire.
For cyclists, it’s an ideal stopover. Situated on the right bank of the river, the campsite has accommodation specially designed for them, such as Campétoiles and Cyclotentes.
Last but not least, the campsite has been adapted for handicapped access, with ramps at the restaurant and reception, flat walkways and single-storey canvas bungalows.

Canoe base on the banks of the Loire
Canoés Terre d’Entente invites you to explore the Saumur region by canoe down the Loire, France’s last great wild river. The recently equipped canoe base lets you explore a natural kingdom of sumptuous landscapes. The campsite team provides daily-maintenance life jackets for your safety, and watertight barrels for your personal belongings.
Various routes from one hour to several days are available, with a bus transfer to the starting point; this gives you the opportunity to let yourself be carried on the water while admiring the wonders of the surrounding nature.

Near Saumur, you can visit the château, the Abbaye Royale de Fontevraud and the Musée des Blindés. Other historic sites, such as the castles of Montreuil-Bellay and Brézé, troglodyte houses and mushroom beds, are well worth a visit.
Saumur, a town dominated by its castle and famous for its Cadre Noir riding school, is a veritable melting pot of culture, history and enchanting landscapes.
